Government fails road users

Who do we blame when the taxi driver fled the scene of an accident in which a person was killed on the M1 recently? Most people would probably blame the driver, and he was responsible, but the ultimate blame must rest with the government.

The driver probably had no training and might not even have had a licence. It is one thing to get an ordinary licence, but another altogether when you are required to transport children, the elderly and others.

Because the government is not fulfilling its obligations, passengers, pedestrians and motorists continue paying the price.
