FC AK eased their relegation woes and confirmed their dominance over University of Pretoria whom they beat 3-1 in a National First Division inland stream match in Tshwane on Saturday

The result dented AmaTuks' promotion chances.

The victory was FC AK's second in a row over AmaTuks and their fourth victory this season. Bahumi spent the better part of the first two rounds in the relegation zone with Dynamos.

They have collected 19 points from 16 matches and have partially moved out of the danger zone.

The match between Dynamos and Mpumalanga Black Aces that was scheduled for Saturday at NkowaNkowa Stadium was postponed due to a water-logged pitch, and will be re-scheduled.

In the coastal stream FC Cape Town enhanced their promotion chances when they beat fellow contenders African Warriors 3-2 at Bluedowns Stadium on Friday.

They moved to second spot on the log. Nathi Lions walloped Vasco da Gama 3-0 at Chatsworth Stadium on Saturday.

l The Absa Premiership fixture between Platinum Stars and Golden Arrows was abandoned after 13 minutes at the Mmabatho Stadium on Saturday after a storm swept the pitch. Advertising boards around the playing area were sent flying, making it unsafe to continue.
