An expert could not say with certainty that insulting messages sent to International Pentecostal Holiness Church leader, Glaton Modise, were sent by his brother-in-law.
Krishen Pillay told the Westonaria magistrate's court that the messages came from an N70 Nokia phone, similar to the one used by the brother-in-law, Bobo Bethuel Modise.
He is on trial for intimidation, crimen injuria and assault.
Pillay said the messages were sent from prepaid sim cards, making it impossible to say who sent them.
