Free State Stars are not only beefing up their playing personnel, they have also recruited two Brazilians to consolidate their technical staff.

The two new additions to the coaching staff are goalkeeper trainer Milton Nienov and physical trainer Marco Munhoz.

After transferring striker Tshepo Mashego to Lamontville Golden Arrows yesterday, Ea lla Koto have signed promising goal-getter Mpho Makola.

Arrows are reported to have paid around R270000 for the services of Mashego, who was put on transfer by Stars earlier this month.

At the same time, Sifiso Sithole, Bruin Senokoane, Christopher Tsotetsi and Motseothata November have been off-loaded to First Division side Carara Kicks.

"Mpho has signed a three-year contract and we are naturally over the moon to have signed a lethal striker of his calibre," said Rantsi Mokoena, Stars' brand manager.

The 22-year-old Makola joined Stars from Africa Youth Sports Academy, which is run by former Bafana Bafana player Harold "Jazzy Queen" Legodi.
