The interview was about the defection of Isaac Hlatswayo from Pettifer's boss Rodney Berman to Branco Milenkovic.
Pettifer must name those reporters who I believe will need to be dealt with appropriately.
I think I must remind you (Pettifer) about the commission of inquiry into local football some years ago. Well some "reporters" whose names were at first mentioned in corridors were ultimately made public and some lost their jobs.
It was after that commission that we began to know that some of our brothers had African names. We had always known them by their colonial names.
Their white counterparts whose names are known even today are still with us as foot soldiers while others opened their own institutions.
Now what Pettifer is alleging is what can best be termed bribery. I have always cried for a commission of inquiry on boxers' monies and promoters who took fighters outside South Africa but still paid them in rands.
Mr Minister (sports and recreations minister, Makhenkesi Stofile), I hope you are listening.
Some "reporters" know about this alleged thuggery, I am told, but their silence has been deafening. Were they paid to shut up and if so by whom?

A white boxing trainer said Berman told him that he didn't care about "black newspapers" because their readers do not support his tournaments at Emperors Palace. Aren't this institution's major shareholders black?
