LONDON - Tottenham reached a deal with Wigan yesterday to sign Honduras midfielder Wilson Palacios.
The move, worth a reported £14million (R202million), is subject to Palacios receiving a work permit.
"We are delighted to announce that we have reached agreement for the transfer of Wilson Palacios from Wigan Athletic," Spurs said in a statement. "Personal terms have been agreed and a medical completed. We now await the Honduran international receiving his work permit before completing his registration."
