Generations star Seputla Sebogodi, who was twice reported to be leaving the soapie in recent months, is going nowhere.
Sebogodi plays the ruthless Kenneth Mashaba in the popular soapie. He was reported to be leaving the soapie to further his musical ambitions. The rumour gained momentum when the actor recently launched a gospel album in Newtown.
But Generations spokesman Constance Mokhoantle yesterday poured cold water on the rumour.
"He is still very much part of the show. He is not leaving any time soon. His contract was renewed in November last year. The reporter who wrote that story misquoted him."
The news will come as a relief to the followers of the soapie. Following reports of his imminent departure, there was a flood of e-mails complaining about the impending loss of the popular actor.
