The first matches of this competition, won last year by Club Sportif Sfaxien of Tunisia, kicks off on January 30- 31 and on February 1. The second leg matches will be played on February 13-15.
South Africa will be represented by Mamelodi Sundowns, although Sundowns will only play their first match on the second round, having received a bye in the first round.
