Bidvest Wits made yet another smash-and-grab raid into the transfer market with the signing of two players this week.

They are Zimbabwean international striker Edward Sadomba from Harare United and hard-working former Jomo Cosmos and SuperSport United striker Calvin "Dolezar" Kadi.

Sadomba signed a pre-contract on Monday, while Kadi signed a two-year deal on Wednesday.

This brings to four the number of players the Clever Boys have signed - after Teboho Langerman and Samuel Ramosoeu last week - since the transfer window opened this month.

But Stan Whiting, Wits' publicist, pointed out that Sadomba was likely to be loaned to Brumbies FC in Denmark for six months because they already have eight foreign players on their books.

Sadomba will be given a chance to hone his skills in Denmark until the end of the season and will obviously join Wits in the new season.

A former Maritzburg United player, Sadomba was loaned to Zimbabwe Dynamos in 2008 by his team Harare United.

Coach Roger de Sa described Kadi as an excellent and versatile player who looked hungry to play during the training sessions.

" I spotted Sadomba during the African Champions League and I had been longing to have him in the squad," said a smiling De Sa.

"However, the unfortunate part is that he will be ineligible to play for us this season."

Said an ecstatic Sadomba: " It is a great feeling to join a team of Wits' calibre and their set-up is exceptionally good.

"Besides that, they got enthusiastic players and a great coach in Roger."
