Correctional Services said that “matters are under control” at Johannesburg’s Sun City Prison on Wed.
Titans seam bowler Ethy Mbhalati says it is great to be part of an exciting and winning team with which he wants to grow.
Mbhalati, last year's most promising player, spoke to Sowetan after his side retained their MTN Domestic Championship title with an eight-wicket victory over the hapless Diamond Eagles in the final in Bloemfontein on Friday.
"I am excited about the victory," said an ecstatic Mbhalati. "I am sure if we could continue playing in this fashion we could claim this year's remaining limited-overs competition."
Coach Richard Pybus showered praises on his charges for producing such a top-class performance in an away match.
"The players stuck to the game plan throughout the proceedings and that largely contributed to our magnificent win," said a smiling Pybus.
What was expected to be a hard-fought contest turned out to be one-way traffic since the Titans were outplayed by the hosts in all departments.
Sent in to bat, the Diamond Eagles crashed to 138 all out in 44 overs.
The Titans responded with 142 in 25,3 overs with the 122-run opening partnership between Blake Snijman and Gulam Bodi setting up the crushing win.
