Award-wining gospel group Joyous Celebration will spread the message of divine love on Valentine's Day.

The group will perform at the Mosaic Theatre on 14th Avenue in Fairlands, Johannesburg, on 14 February.

Lindelani Mkhize, co-founder of the group, encouraged people to spread love this Valentine's Day. He said the event, which is sponsored by Old Mutual, will be special for families and lovers.

"We will be celebrating love in a different way because we believe God is love. The show will be very interactive and exciting. We plan to include many things to make it memorable.

"People will be able to exchange gifts and there will be motivational talks by well-known pastors."

Mkhize said it was time to spread love because life is a challenge for most people.

"People are so stressed that they forget to spread love," he said.

Mkhize promised fans an exciting, beautiful and entertaining day. He said they would also showcase new talent.

"Joyous is good at finding new talent and we will be introducing fresh talent at the show," Mkhize said.

Joyous Celebration remains one of the most successful gospel groups in the country. The group continues to set trends in the gospel genre while maintaining the highest quality music.

Tickets are available at Computicket, starting at R200.
