The man was confronted by three robbers yesterday while walking to work, Captain Alfred Nakana said.
"They demanded cash and his cellphone at gunpoint," he said.
One of the robbers tried to shoot the man but his weapon jammed. This gave the man enough time to use his own licensed firearm to shoot his assailant. - Sapa
