Peter "Fuduwa" Mathekga, the organisation's coordinator in Limpopo said more than 20 ex-players will study for a national certificate in coaching with the University of Johannesburg.
"The participants should be willing to complete the programme that is scheduled for more than a year," he said.
Meanwhile, the SASL Limpopo has joined forces with the department of economic development, environment and tourism, the South African Police Service and LimDev, to promote responsible drinking and gambling among former soccer players and members of the community. - Matome Lebea
