Controversial singer Tina could have been beaten to a pulp over the festive season had it not been for beefy men who rescued her.
According to eyewitnesses, the incident happened after Tina had apparently interrupted DJ Tira who was playing on the night of a party at Max Butchery, a popular tshisanyama hangout in Umlazi, Durban.
A man apparently floored her with a punch and accused her of stealing other women's men.
She fought back but was stopped by three men who came to her defence.
Tina, who is DJ Oskido's partner, confirmed the incident but denied that she had been fiddling with the DJ's booth.
Tina is no stranger to controversy. Last year she allegedly drove into the estate where Oscar "Oskido" Mdlongwa lives, knocking down a boom gate after she was refused access.
