Twenty-eight female guards were unfairly dismissed by a security company because the client‚ Metrora.
The South African Football Players Union has sent its condolences to the bereaved family of former Safa vice president Reuben Mahlalela, who died in Nelspruit on Saturday.
"We are saddened by the death of Mahlalela," Tebogo Maphaleng, the union's general secretary, said yesterday.
"His departure has robbed football of one of the hard-working and dedicated football administrators in the country."
The memorial service for Mahlalela will be held at Nelspruit Rugby Stadium on Thursday at 10am. Mahlalela will be buried in Komatipoort on Saturday. - Sowetan
