Superintendent Mohale Ramatseba said the half-naked body of the 67-year-old woman was found on Sunday with an open wound to her throat.
"She was reported missing on Saturday and a missing person file was opened. The following day she was found in the bushes," Ramatseba said.
The suspect is being held at the Makuya police station until he appears in court. - Sapa
