From the heart

The soccer fraternity heaved a sigh of relief at the news that former Bafana Bafana captain Lucas "Rhoo" Radebe was out of danger after being hospitalised last week.

The soccer fraternity heaved a sigh of relief at the news that former Bafana Bafana captain Lucas "Rhoo" Radebe was out of danger after being hospitalised last week.

Radebe, who also served as captain of English Premier League side Leeds United, collapsed while exercising at a gym after suffering minor heart complications.

Now that the doctors have managed to give him the necessary treatment and he is recuperating, we hope the quietly-spoken football ambassador will be able to get enough rest and spend time with his family at home.

We wish him a speedy recovery, a happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year - sans health problems.
