Jomo Cosmos owner-coach Jomo Sono has exported four players to strengthen his Swaziland Premier League side Umbelebele Jomo Cosmos.

They are central midfielder Eucan Nkosi, 19, left-back Thamsanqa Zondi, 19, right-back Kago Sekela, 20, and defender Khulani "Rabutla" Mavhasa, 20.

Sono, who is the majority shareholder in the Swazi club, is hoping the arrival of the four youngsters will help the club challenge for the championship title.

Umbelebele have already laid a solid foundation by clinching the Swazi Lotto Cup in the capital Mbabane three weeks ago.

All the players are graduates of the Jomo Cosmos Under-19 side, where they have been developed by one of the rising coaches, Ronnie Moroka.

Ray Msibi, a spokesman for Umbelebele Jomo Cosmos, said the players were very good and will add value to the team in their quest to challenge for the league.

"Sekela and Mavhasa have already started to play for the team and were in the team that defeated Mbabane Highlanders 1-0 in the Swazi Lotto Cup championship final.

"At the moment Zondi is still suffering with an ankle injury, while we are still processing the work permit of Nkosi," said Msibi.

He said the players will stay in Swaziland for the remainder of this season and return to South Africa next season.

"The boys are here to gain experience and they will return to Jomo Cosmos next season to the first team. Jomo Sono uses Umbelebele as a ground to groom his players in preparing them for first-team action," said Msibi.

He added that they were also expecting a striker from Mali.

"The striker was initially earmarked for Jomo Cosmos in South Africa. But Ezenkosi could not sign him because they have already exhausted their foreign quota, hence he was given to us and will also return to Jomo Cosmos at the end of the season," he said.
