ANC is for all people and Cope uses the poor

But the ANC is a broad church and accommodates all progressive forces, including the progressive bourgeoisie.

So it is not true that it is drifting away from its founding principles. Business leaders who embrace capitalism are very welcome in the ANC.

People who benefited from the 1996 class project and onwards do not want to let go without putting up a fight to reverse change.

While the government does not operate in isolation from the global economy, it is incumbent on it to stand firm in its beliefs to build a better life for all.

Elected leadership should make changes to improve society, not to pursue narrow personal ambitions.

The Cope leadership benefitted from the 1996 class project and is driven by wealth accumulation and self-enrichment .

The ANC should move away from the business as usual approach to the business-unusual approach in terms of empowerment, so that more people can benefit since most did not benefit from the narrow empowerment of 1996.

The Cope leadership is trying to defend its wealth through politics by using the poorest of the poor. But very soon its supporters will wake up and revolt against Lekota, Shilowa and others.
