In a bid to avoid disruptions at their Absa Premiership match against Orlando Pirates in KwaMashu on Saturday, AmaZulu will not sell tickets at the stadium.
This is also part of Usuthu's concerted efforts to inculcate the mentality of buying tickets on time among the locals ahead of the 2009 Confederations Cup and the 2010 World Cup.
The battle-scarred AmaZulu host Pirates at Princess Magogo Stadium at 3.30pm.
The Buccaneers return to Durban seven days after they were pipped 2-1 by Ajax Cape Town in the Telkom Knockout final in Chatsworth.
Qedi Dlamini, Usuthu's head of safety and security, warned yesterday that no person will be allowed near the stadium without a ticket.
"As this match will be an all-ticket affair, we urge football fans to buy tickets at Computicket outlets and Shoprite-Checkers stores on time to avoid disappointment," Dlamini said. "We also want to advise supporters not to carry weapons, bottles or cooler boxes."
Philani Mabaso, the side's publicist, also pleaded with their supporters to come in droves to root for the players.
"We are also going to give the first 1000 card-carrying supporters T-shirts and vuvuzelas. This is also part of our effort to encourage supporters to come early to the matches," he said.
