The Homecoming Music Festival taking place at Good Hope Centre in Cape Town is definitely a can't-miss event for music lovers.

The 8th Annual Homecoming Festival takes place on December 31. Boasting an exciting line-up, Capetonians will end the 2008 entertainment calender on a high note.

The festival's line-up features a mix of both Afro-pop and Afro-jazz that will keep music lovers dancing until the next day.

In the bill are Cape Town-born singer Ringo Madlingozi, Mathapelo, Nhlanhla, Malaika, Camagwini, Charisma, Lira, and Siphokazi, among others.

Madlingozi, who has released his 9th offering, Qhubeka, will be rocking music fans. Madlingozi's style shows that he has found his niche.

Charisma Hanekom, who also comes from Cape Town, is a young musician whose talent was discovered during SABC2's I want to Sing Gospel. She will get an opportunity to share the stage with established local musicians.

With her versatile and stunning voice that allows her to sing any genre, Charisma is destined for great things if pushed in the right direction.

The show starts at 6pm and tickets are available at Computicket at R150.
