Prominent South African women's soccer official Fran Hilton-Smith has been invited by CAF to conduct a coaching course in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, from Wednesday to December 22.

Fifty candidates from around the continent will be instructed.

Among those that will attend, Under-20 coach Annah Monate will be the South African candidate, while highly rated Namibian Sheila Shipanga will represent her country.

"It is an honour for me and the country, to be invited to instruct here and gives me another chance to fulfill my wish to empower women to be coaches.

"I want to leave a legacy of highly qualified African women instructors taking the game to higher levels," Hilton-Smith said.

Shipenga and Hilton-Smith are the only women Fifa instructors in Africa. This course is a follow up to the two courses conducted in November. - Linda Moreotsene
