Ever since the first generation Aveo, it was one of the most important models for Chevrolet in South Africa. The car might fall in the category for budget buys, but it is well equipped with standard features.
In the case of the Aveo sedan, you get quite an impressive boot capacity, while four or five adults will sit comfortably. The interior is modern and in excellent condition.
From a driver's point of view, everything is within easy reach. It comes with aircon, CD-player, power steering, electric windows, and ABS.
When it comes to the reliability of the vehicle, there is not much explaining to do. The Aveo has a good track record.
Our used car had done 35000km. Driving the Aveo is easy and the small turning circle makes city driving easy.
The four-cylinder 1,5-litre engine uses a five-speed manual gearbox to deliver power to the front wheels at 62 kW and 128 Nm. This may not sound like much, but is more than enough to travel at 120km/h on the freeway.
