Cape high court judge Siraj Desai says the description of events on the night of the murder of musician Taliep Petersen, given by his wife Najwa, is "unconvincing" and "most unlikely".
Desai yesterday began handing down a lengthy judgement on Najwa and her three co-accused, Abdoer Raasiet Emjedi, Waheed Hassen and Jefferson Snyders who are accused of murdering Taliep in December 2006 in a hit allegedly planned by Najwa.
The judgement is to be concluded today.
Najwa is alleged to have asked Fahiem Hendricks to organise men to murder Taliep and to have opened the door for the alleged killers. - Anna Majavu
