Amabinneplaas coach Serame Letsoaka has roped in Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Benedict "Tso" Vilakazi into the national development team.

Also included in the team is former Under-23 international Richard "Kimberley Express" Henyekane.

Letsoaka this week announced the 18-member team that will meet Zimbabwe in an African Nations Championship qualifier at Super Stadium in Atteridgeville on Sunday.

He has full confidence in his squad, whose aim is to qualify for the finals of this inaugural tournament in Ivory Coast in March next year.

"We have picked a team that we believe will represent this country proudly. We know that Zimbabwe will not be here on holiday, they are coming here to fight for points."

Team manager Barney Kujane said the team assemble in Johannesburg on Wednesday and had two training sessions yesterday, the first at Johannesburg Stadium in the morning and second in the afternoon at Caledonian Stadium.

Kujane said Zimbabwe will arrive today.
