Kaizer Chiefs, still smarting from a 0-2 setback by blood rivals Orlando Pirates last Saturday, could find it tough to save face against Bidvest Wits at Milpark stadium tomorrow night. Kickoff is at 8pm.
In an interview with Sowetan yesterday, Wits' team manager George Mogotsi stressed that they will not do the Naturena outfit any favours after they failed to collect maximum points on Saturday.
They drew 1-all against SuperSport United in Atteridgeville.
Though Mogotsi admitted that it will not be a walk in the park against Amakhosi, The Students are ready to tackle Muhsin Ertugral's charges head-on at home.
Mogotsi is wary of players such as Gert Schalkwyk and Arthur Zwane .
"But we also have young and talented players who are worth their salt in the team," he said.
Good news for supporters of The Students is that captain Sibusiso Mahlangu is back from injury to strengthen the midfield. Coach Roger de Sa will be spoilt for choice because the team is injury free.
Amakhosi, who have been blowing hot and cold, will be under severe pressure to win because they have already lost four games this season.
Coach Muhsin Ertugral's is worried about the absence of reliable defenders Onismor Bhasera and Jonathan Quartey who are suspended. To make matters worse, defender Mokete Tsotetsi and Jose Torrealba are out injured.
Elsewhere, wounded Santos meet Maritzburg United at Athlone Stadium in Cape Town tonight at 8pm. Santos coach David Bright is under pressure to win this one.
