Young and old athletes in Limpopo will have another chance to sharpen their running skills during the Wood City Charity night run in Polokwane from 6.30pm tonight.
The 10km run is the brainchild of Polokwane Athletics Clubs in conjunction with Wood City who donated R10 000 towards the race.
"Apart from keeping the athletes active through this race, we will be able to generate some money for the needy charity organisations. This will be made possible through registration fees and donations from willing people," Henry Allworth, the club's chairman told Sowetan yesterday.
The registration will start at 5.30pm. Registration for the 10km race is R20, while for the 5km run it is R10. - Matome Lebea
