Orlando Pirates hope to mark their return to the rebuilt Orlando Stadium tomorrow in style by hammering the inconsistent Thanda Royal Zulu.

Siphelele "Scara" Mthembu, the once disputed striker from Maritzburg City, is set to make his debut for Bucs sporting jersey number 40.

This is after Kaizer Chiefs decided to withdraw their appeal against a ruling by the PSL dispute resolution chamber that Mthembu was properly signed by Pirates.

Kaizer Motaung, Chiefs' boss wrote on their website yesterday: "Our decision was first motivated by the letter that the player addressed to the dispute resolution committee stating his decision to honour the ruling that favoured Orlando Pirates."

Tomorrow's game promises to be an incredible display of soccer with Thanda out to avenge the 1-0 defeat inflicted on them by Pirates last month.

But Pirates are in a class of their own and are unbeaten in six games, while Thanda have lost their way after a bright start to the season.

The Bernard Parker-led side is still trying to recover from a 2-0 loss to Mamelodi Sundowns in Atteridgeville last weekend.

The match will be preceded by a game featuring soccer greats such as MacDonald "Rhee" Skosana, Finky Sekete and Frederick "Congo" Malebane.

There will also be a big screen for spectators to follow the 2009 Confederations Cup draw at 5pm, as well as park-and-ride facilities. Buses will leave from Meadowlands Stadium, Dorothy Nyembe Park and Nasrec Expo from 11am.

l In Atteridgeville, SuperSport United welcome resuscitated AmaZulu at Super Stadium tomorrow at 6pm. Matsatsantsa a Pitori will be minus key players Rudi Isaacs, Ricardo Katza, Letladi Madubanya (suspended), Daine Klate and Andre Arendse (injured).
