Happy days are likely to be back for Moroka Swallows when they return to their historic venue, Orlando Stadium, for their game against Platinum Stars on Sunday.

Though The Birds have not been at their best in recent games, they have promised to bounce back at their traditional stronghold.

"Orlando Stadium is our traditional home, and we're happy to play there," said Swallows' spokesman Siya Sangweni.

The Birds have been inconsistent in recent games and need to redeem themselves. They have good players but seem to be going through a bad spell.

The effective combinations of Ryan Botha and Elton Marelato, and David Radebe and Phumelela Bhengu are no longer gelling.

The only department that is functioning well is the midfield that is led by captain Lefa Tsutsulupa.

Stars' manager Thamaga Mokgophi said: "We started badly but the team is starting to gel and the guys are scoring goals."

The Tycoons are playing well and their away 3-0 win over Bay United and 4-1 win over Santos have motivated the side.

In another league game, struggling Premiership newcomers Bay United host Ajax Cape Town at the EPRU stadium also on Sunday.
