Sensational Tshifhiwa Munyai and Bongani Mwelase will be in action in top Free State boxing promoter Blacky Seoe's last tournament for the year, at Ride Hall, Arwa in Parys on Friday night.

The star-studded line-up also includes Mlungisi Dlamini, Bongani Mahlangu and celebrated international fighters Ali Nuumbembe from Namibia and Guyanese former three-time world champion Gary St Clair.

"Atomic Spider" Munyai, from Makwarela in Limpopo, will defend the WBA Intercontinental bantamweight belt against "Dancing Shoes" Mahlangu.

The towering Munyai's career took off in the UK where was voted International Boxer of 2006 after winning and defending the Commonwealth belt twice.

This youngster who possesses superb boxing skills won the WBA International belt in February after he outperformed Argentinian Julio David Roque at Bloemfontein Hall.

Meanwhile Mwelase, who is known as "Cyclones", will defend the WBF welterweight belt against Nuumbembe, a distinguished Namibian sportsman who reigned supreme as his country's champion for eight years.

He turned professional in 2002 in Britain, where he won the Commonwealth belt last February.

The "Silent Assassin" holds the WBA Pan African belt.

"The Shark" Dlamini could kiss the WBF lightweight title goodbye against "Superman" St Clair, who is based in Australia.

Seoe said the action will linger in people's minds throughout the festive season.

"I was told that my previous tournaments were good but this will be the best," said Seoe whose Robs Promotions has staged five international tournaments since Seoe began promoting boxing this year.

As has become the norm with Seoe's tournaments, entry will be free on Friday night.

"This is my humble way of saying happy Christmas to the boxing fraternity which welcomed me with warm hands."

Fight fans are in for a real treat.
