The ANC Youth League has retracted its allegation that Absa chairman Gill Marcus, egged on by Wendy Luhabe, is using Absa facilities to help the Shikota group.
It said it accepts Absa's explanation that a planned luncheon will serve to advance the cause of SA women.
Absa communication executive Makhosini Nkosi said Absa sets aside R2,5million a year for registered parties which had won at least three seats in parliament.
