Bangladesh coach James Siddons says his charges are geared up to face the Proteas in a one-off Standard Bank Pro20 international at Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg today.

In an interview with Sowetan, Siddons said yesterday that they have improved tremendously and are out to show their counterparts stars on home soil.

If they do win it will be payback for the two Test defeats against the South Africans at home early in February.

"We know that it is not going to be an easy away match against the best team in the world, but we have capable players who can turn the tables," said a confident Siddons.

He added that they also hope do well in the coming three-match MTN one-day international series that will be followed by a two-match Castle Test series against the hosts this month.

Though captain Graham Smith is unavailable, South Africa will go into today's game with confidence after their 2-0 victory over Kenya in the MTN ODI series last week.

Smith is still recovering from an elbow injury and Johan Botha will continue to captain the side in his absence after steering the team to a convincing win over Kenya.

On a plus note, South Africa will be boosted by the return from illness of fast bowler Dale Steyn, the International Cricket Council's Test player of the year.

Meanwhile, Cricket South Africa and Hummel launched the Proteas' new range of clothing for the international season in a colourful ceremony in Johannesburg on Monday.

"The kit we wear on the field plays a much bigger part in our success than many people realise," said Smith
