Ajax Cape Town are inspired by their cheerful home record in the Absa Premiership but their territory could count for nothing against champions SuperSport United tomorrow night.

The two teams go into this league encounter, scheduled for Athlone Stadium at 8, after recording contrasting results in their midweek battles.

Matsatsantsa are in high spirits going to the Mother City after a 5-0 demolition of Maritzburg United and this suggests that they can survive tomorrow.

The Urban Warriors suffered a 0-2 defeat at the lowly AmaZulu.

But Ajax kept a clean slate in their league campaign at home last season and are yet to lose at home this term. They are also inspired by the fact that they are meeting the in-form league champions.

Brett Evans is back to solidify the hosts' defence but will they be able to deal with Anthony Laffor, who scored a midweek hat trick?

Ajax welcome midfielder Mkhanyiseli Siwahla back from suspension but United can counter with Letladi Madubanya who shone against The Team of Choice.

The fact that United beat Gordon Igesund's side with swagger despite missing of some of their key players proved that Matsatsantsa are the side to beat this season.

Elsewhere, Thanda Royal Zulu will once again rely on free-scoring forward Bernard Parker when they engage the tricky Bidvest Wits at Mpumalanga Stadium in Hammersdale, KwaZulu-Natal, on Sunday. Kickoff is at 3.30pm.

Parker saved Amabhubesi from the jaws of defeat when he scored two goals to level the score against Lamontville Golden Arrows in a KwaZulu-Natal derby on Wednesday.
