I have a strong feeling that our democracy will collapse unless we call Mosiuoa Lekota and the ANC to order.
When Bantu Holomisa left the ANC he did not go to its branches to tell members to leave the organisation.
We were all afraid of Holomisa but he got support without asking people to burn ANC membership cards, Thabo Mbeki T-shirts or Zuma posters.
The Constitution allows Lekota to form his own political party and to hold meetings anywhere in the country, but it also prevents him from calling ANC branches to meetings because he is not an ANC leader.
At the same time the ANC cannot prevent Lekota from holding meetings.
People must stop using Thabo Mbeki's name.
The IEC must talk to Lekota and the ANC before it is too late.
I will attend Lekota's meetings only if he offers new ideas and policies.
