Bloemfontein Celtic will not read much into Kaizer Chiefs' dismal run this season because they are well aware of Amakhosi's adeptness to recuperate

Celtic's midfielder Patrick Malokase admitted yesterday Chiefs will be tough customers, and warned that they cannot afford to undermine them in today's Absa Premiership meeting at Seisa Ramabodu Stadium.

Kickoff is at 3.30pm.

"We will be up against a tough team in Chiefs, and they could upset us if we take them for granted," warned Malokase, the side's three-goal hero in their 5-0 rout of Santos in the Telkom Knockout last weekend.

Soccer enthusiasts are eager to see how Phunya Sele Sele, who are also disappointing in their league campaign this season, will handle themselves against Chiefs.

The basement side only managed one point in four matches, and they should be desperate for their first win of the season today.

But they could find this feat hard to attain as Chiefs are equally desperate for the three points.

Chiefs are on an unfamiliar 13th position on the table with three points from a possible 12, and are regarded as early relegation candidates.

Tumelo Nhlapo is back from suspension to fortify the hosts' midfield, where they will also have Kleinbooi Taaibos.

Arthur Zwane should be Chiefs' trump card, and Jose Torrealba is another player who can be a problem for Celtic.

Elsewhere, Ajax Cape Town, buoyed by a good start to the season and a cup win over Platinum Stars last weekend, should beat AmaZulu at Princess Magogo Stadium in another 3.30pm fixture today.

Usuthu's doleful run this term has put Clive Barker under pressure, and the veteran coach will need nothing but a win at home to boost the players' morale.
