A seven-year-old girl was killed when a bus crashed into a school pillar in Eastern Cape.
Captain Mduduzi Godlwana said at about 7.20am a bus from Mpeto Bus Services, which was transporting pupils reversed into a brick pillar at Buchele Junior Secondary School in Mthembalala, Lusikisiki. The pillar fell on the girl, killing her instantly.
The girl's pregnant mother collapsed when she heard the news.
