Stage and television actress Tinah Mnumzana's new role in e.tv's soapie Scandal will showcase her true talent.
Mnumzana plays pastor Benjamin Letswalo's wife Constance. Scandal followers will be introduced to her character on November 18.
In Scandal, her son Lefa, who is a pastor in training, is getting married to Palesa Mooki, a receptionist. The shock of their lives awaits Mrs and Mr Letswalo when their son finally reveals that Palesa is HIV positive.
In defining her character, Mnumzana said: "Constance is a holier-than-thou person who is overprotective of her son, played by Aubrey Poo. The woman is also a bit extrovert and is removed from her culture.
"As a seasoned actress, I will incorporate my own interpretation into the role."
Mnumzana said Constance is a different role from any character she has played on TV.
She has acted in stage shows such as Ten Bush, Eerfsonders, Bophelo ke Semphekgo, Soul City, Suburban Bliss, Nna Sajene Kokobela, Phamokate, among others
