The National Prosecuting Authority's Missing Persons Task Team is looking for the families of two Umkhonto weSizwe (MK) cadres killed in a clash with the SA Defence Force in 1983 in Limpopo.

Joseph Ditala Tshinga, also known as Stoney or Thabo Mopedi, and Geoffrey Tholi Ramokapelo, also known as Daniel April, were buried as paupers at Tshikota Cemetery in Makhado. They were killed near Allday on November 10 1983.

Their bodies, and those of two others whose names have not been confirmed, will be exhumed on October 27, said task team head Madeleine Fullard.

"All our efforts to trace two of the affected families have been unsuccessful," said Fullard.
