Nokuthula Mthethwa, 32, who suffered terrible burns wounds after a jealous nurse allegedly poured her with acid, has been moved to another hospital in Durban after her condition deteriorated.
Mthethwa, of Ntshawini, was burnt all over her body last month, allegedly by Nomvula Luthuli, who had accused her of stealing her boyfriend, Edward Mofokeng.
Luthuli allegedly attacked Mthethwa at her aunt's home in Ntshawini by pouring acid over her body.
Mofokeng, who was present during the attack, tried to intervene and was also burnt. He is also still in hospital.
Luthuli, who is Mofokeng's common-law wife, is out on R1000 bail and is due to appear in the Stanger magistrate's court on November 3.
Mthethwa has been moved because her condition is worsening.
Speaking to Sowetan yesterday, she said her condition had not improved. "It is still the same. I am no different," she said.
