The statement by ANC Women's League president Angie Motshekga that "the dogs have left the ANC" proves that she is very rude, uncultured and a bad politician with no respect for other people.
I really thank God that Motshekga is not my mother because I would be very worried if my mother made headlines calling other people dogs.
It also proves high levels of arrogance and a lack of respect for the Constitution.
A senior member of the party cannot refer to citizens in such language simply because they disagree with the latest practices of the ANC.
These people put their lives on the line for the struggle to ensure that South Africa is free.
I wonder what Motshekga calls struggle icons such as Robert Sobukwe, Steve Biko, Zeph Mothopeng, Japhta Masemola and the many others whose political views were different to those of the ANC but who played a major role in our struggle against apartheid?
The ANC leadership's reckless statements make me believe that the present ANC leadership does not know the meaning of human rights.
These leaders lack character.
