Iconic 007 gun stolen

The iconic pistol featured in the 1974 James Bond movie, The Man With the Golden Gun, has reportedly been stolen from a British film studio.

The iconic pistol featured in the 1974 James Bond movie, The Man With the Golden Gun, has reportedly been stolen from a British film studio.

The weapon, valued at an estimated R1,3million, is said to have been taken from a cabin owned by Elstree Props. The theft was discovered on Friday.

The golden gun was used by Bond villain Francisco Scaramanga, played by Christopher Lee, in the hit movie.

When told of the missing prop former 007 star Roger Moore made light of the situation and quipped: "You'd better ask Christopher Lee about this. Search his house." - Wenn
