Now that a new party looks set to be born out of the ANC, Jacob Zuma and his cronies are running like a person pressurised by a purgative to pressurise Terror Lekota and Thabo Mbeki's supporters to abandon this noble idea.
Jeff Radebe, Julius Malema and Gwede Mantashe were too arrogant and casual about the formation of a new party. They forgot that among professionals, the middle class, women and provinces such as Eastern Cape, Northern Cape, Gauteng, Western Cape and North West, the Mbeki faction is still popular.
Statements by Archbishop Desmond Tutu that he will not vote if there is a split in the ANC, or Zuma does not withdraw his candidacy for the county's top position are, all contributing to this idea.
Again, the ANC responded arrogantly to Tutu, calling him names in the same way Malema called Mbeki names. Disrespecting elders is now the norm in Zuma's ANC.
Malema told Metro FM that Lekota is just an ordinary member of the ANC who holds no position. He added that if Lekota has a complaint, he must write to his branch secretary. Malema was not aware that behind the scenes his leaders were pleading with this ordinary member not to leave the ANC. Shame Malema!
Forward to a new party!
