Former professional soccer players in Limpopo assured the South African Football Players Union (Safpu) that their services are available today and tomorrow for the coaching clinics in Mokopane and Nkowankowa.

Limpopo is the eighth province to be visited by Safpu and today's event will be held at Mokopane Academy.

The coaching clinics are spearheaded by Safpu and the Tourism, Hospitality, Sports Education and Training Authority (Theta), with the aim of instilling a love of football in youngsters.

"This is an opportune time for us to impart our skills and knowledge to the youngsters who are eager to become professional footballers in future," Andries "Local is Lekker" Sebola, the former Orlando Pirates striker, told Sowetan yesterday.

"I am ready to assist them with my scoring skills and tips on how they should behave and live as footballers." - Matome Lebea
