Sydney "Mawashe'' Zilimbola, tournament coordinator, said they were expecting all combatants from the nine provinces to attend.
The event will feature the men's and women's categories. The elimination bouts kick-off at 9am to 1pm while the quarterfinals start from 1.30pm to 5.30pm.
Entrance fee is R25 for adults and R15 for children.
The weigh-in will be held today at 3pm. The referees' seminar will begin at 5pm.
