The following are some of the ugly incidents that have taken place in League matches.
l Anthony Laffor of SuperSport United was stretchered off wrapped in protective foil after being kicked in the ribs by Mamelodi Sundowns' Shere Lekgothoane. He was out of action for two weeks.
l Former Orlando Pirates' player Daniel "Dance" Malesela received a bone-crunching tackle from former Swallows' striker Steve Sekano that left him with a broken leg.
l Mamelodi Sundowns Dillon Sheppard had to be carried off the field after a bone-crunching tackle from Free State Stars' James Matola. He was out of action for weeks.
l Former Chiefs' striker Serge Djiehoua was fouled and rough-tackled by Andrew Rabutla (broken leg).
l Ex-Amazulu player George Dearnaly was hard-tackled by Edward Motale (broken leg).
l Former Swallows' and Pirates' player Bernard Lushozi was punched on the left eye by Witbank Black Aces' striker Junior Ngobe in retaliation.
l Daniel Mudau was elbowed in the ribs by Graham Lowe of Swallows.
