HARARE - Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe said yesterday that he was "committed" to working with his rival Morgan Tsvangirai in a new power-sharing government formed in a bid to end a ruinous political crisis.
"Let us be allies," Mugabe said after signing the powersharing accord. People will want to see if what we promise is indeed what we strive to do. We are committed, I am committed, let us all be committed." - Sapa-AFP
