Ike Pula, a prominent Limpopo development soccer coach, has been appointed head coach of the recently revived Seshego Naughty Boys.

The knowledgeable Pula will be assisted by Percy Motloung, himself a former player of the once popular Naughty Boys.

"We are delighted to have acquired these two experienced development coaches," said Alex "Chippa" Mojela, Naughty Boys' senior official.

"We realised there was a dire need to have a club in the Premiership in Seshego after the status of Ria Stars was bought by the league.

"Seshego has produced great professional soccer players like Trott Moloto, William Makhura, Ace Lekganyane, Joe Mahlaba, Masilo Modubi and Vincent Kobola," Mojela said.

"It is disappointing for such a big township to be without a Premiership club. Give us five years, we will be in there with Orlando Pirates, Kaizer Chiefs and others.

"We are talking here about a club that produced great players like Pastor Clement [Rubber] Koma, Harris Choeu, Jackie Ledwaba, Fani Maphalle, Joseph Lekganyane, Sello Ledwaba, Tiny Mogadime, Peter Mathekga and Kingsley Masingi.

"We have decided to start the whole process by registering the team to play in the SAB Regional League in the Polokwane Local Football Association. It's a very young team.

"There are quite a number of youngsters who have joined us from neighbours Seshego Blackpool," added Mojela, who was also a deadly striker at the same club.

Mojela, who is running the club with Koti Mokwalakwala, said they were also in the process of establishing junior divisions.
