Fifa president Sepp Blatter will meet South African leaders like Thabo Mbeki, Jacob Zuma, FW de Klerk and Helen Zille during his inspection visit.

Blatter will touch down at the OR Tambo International Airport on Sunday where he will be welcomed by Local Organising Committee chairman Irvin Khoza. LOC board members who will also be there to welcome Blatter and his delegation, include Molefi Oliphant, Tokyo Sexwale and Danny Jordaan .

Later in the evening, Blatter will meet Mbeki in Pretoria where government will once more assure Fifa that South Africa is well on track with the preparations.

On Monday, Blatter is off to Cape Town where he will inspect construction of the new Green Point Stadium and meet Premier Lynne Brown and mayor Zille.

On Tuesday, he will visit Soccer City, the venue that is being upgraded for the opening and closing ceremonies of the World Cup.

In Jozi, he will also meet Premier Mbhazima Shilowa, sports and recreation MEC Barbara Creecy and Mayor Amos Masondo. The next day he will visit Ellis Park Stadium.

l Khoza, Oliphant and Free State MEC for sports and recreation Ace Magashule will address the 2010 World Cup gala dinner in Parys tomorrow.
