Police in KwaZulu-Natal have since Wednesday been searching from one bridge to another for the body of a man who allegedly killed his two children aged two and three years.
This after he sent an SMS to the children's mother threatening to jump to his death from an undisclosed bridge.
Yesterday police said they had searched for the man at all the bridges in the area but to no avail.
Police spokesman Inspector Sbu Sithole said they were continuing with the search for the 28-year-old Sifiso Ndlela.
"We have searched at all three bridges in the area - the one on the N3 just before the Marianhill toll plaza, the one on the N3 and the one in Ntshongweni - but he is nowhere to be found," he said.
Sithole said on Friday, while searching the house where the dead children were found, police discovered a letter allegedly written by Ndlela, "something about the fight between the couple over the children's custody".
Their father, while with them in Ntshongweni in Hillcrest, allegedly killed Okuhle, 2, and Amahle, 3, on Wednesday night.
