A Pretoria teenager has confessed to raping two women aged 21 and 26 and forcing them to perform oral sex at gunpoint on separate occasions.

The 16-year-old pleaded guilty to rape, indecent assault, kidnapping, robbery and unlawful possession of firearm and ammunition in the Johannesburg high court yesterday.

"I knew that my actions were wrong, but I still persisted with my actions," he said in his confession..

The teenager was arrested together with two adult accomplices. Their trial will begin tomorrow.

The teenager told the court that on August 3 last year he was asked by two men to accompany them.

"They used to send me to buy them cigarettes. I felt honoured [when they asked me to accompany them] and without asking for details I got into the car."

He said they drove to The Buzz Centre in Fourways where they saw a woman who had just parked her car.

One of the men forced her to get into the car's back seat at gunpoint. They left the car they were travelling in at a garage and drove with the woman in her car.

"I was sitting at the back with the woman. The gentleman gave her a choice, either to give me oral sex or be dumped in a black area and then be raped. I then put my penis into her mouth," he said.

He said the two men then raped the woman and robbed her of her cellphone, cash and handbag.

"She was left on the N1 near Weirdabrug. We took her car and I heard that it was sold," he said.

Two weeks later, the teenager said he was asked by the same two men to accompany them.

This time they drove to Cool Runnings in Fourways where they found another woman who had just parked her car - and the same procedure was followed.

"Only this time I raped the woman as well."

The second victim was forced to give them the pin number to her bank card. She was driven around Pretoria when on two occasions the men stopped to withdraw her money from ATMs. She was dumped near Atteridgeville in the early hours of the morning.

The teenager will return to court on October 28 for mitigation of sentence. He is being kept at a place of safety.
